NDIT Funding Requested for Regional Airport Projects
The Regional Board is submitting an application to Northern Development Initiative Trust (NDIT) for two airport projects:

This project will involve a fuel system reconfiguration, including self-serve capability. Other funding for the project, which has a total value of $238,000, is proposed to come from the BC Air Access Program. Currently, the Economic Diversification Infrastructure Program has over one million available for grants.
CRD Supports Local Trail Development and Community Hall Improvements
The CRD is requesting $30,000 in grant funding, under the Community Halls and Recreation Facilities Program. Xat’sull First Nation’s request for $30,000 in grant funding, under the Community Halls and Recreation Facilities Program to continue the trail developments from the previous years. The new trails will include a series of cross-country, climbing trails and downhill trails that will greatly add to the Xat’sull trail network.
Horsefly District Board of Trade’s request for $30,000 in grant funding under the Community Halls and Recreation Facilities program. The funding will be used to re-pave the surface of the Horsefly sports facility, build new boards around it as well as a new pickle ball court on one end.
