Recycling

Under the CRD’ new Solid Waste Management Plan, recycling will be accessible to all CRD residents. Between May and October of 2014, new recycling depots will be available across the Region to provide drop off locations for typical household recyclables like paper products, cardboard, glass, plastics type 1-7, tin/aluminum/steel food cans, plastic bags and Styrofoam.

Curbside recycling collection will be implemented in May 2014 for the 108 Mile Subdivision.

Product Stewardship recyclables such as electronics, tires, used oil, beverage containers, small appliances etc… have drop off depots throughout the Region, check the South or Central Cariboo recycling guides under resources (side bar) for more information, or call the Recycling Council of BC’s (RCBC) hotline at 1-800-667-4321, or check online at: rcbc.bc.ca
