‘Funny Business’ with the CRD’s Summer Reading Clubs Cariboo Chilcotin - The Cariboo Regional District Libraries in 100 Mile House, Quesnel, and Williams Lake invite children of all ages to join this year’s BC Summer Reading Club: Funny Business. The program starts in July. Registration is free and is now open.
CRD’s South Cariboo Regional Airport base for Ministry Spruce Budworm Treatments 108 Mile Ranch - The Cariboo Regional District’s (CRD) South Cariboo Regional Airport at the 108 Mile Ranch will be used by the Ministry of Forests, Lands and Natural Resource Operations again in 2014 as a base for its spraying to control local populations of Spruce Budworm. Timing of the work is dependent on weather conditions, but the Ministry expects to operate out of the airport for seven to ten days in mid to late June.
North Cariboo – The Cariboo Regional District’s Chief Election Officer has now declared the results as official for the North Cariboo Arena Replacement Project Referendum. A total of 3,235 North Cariboo residents participated in the referendum through advance polls, mail ballots and general voting day held this past Saturday.

The North Cariboo Joint Planning Committee is pleased to announce that the Province, Northern Development Initiative Trust and West Fraser have re-confirmed their commitment to the North Cariboo Arena Replacement Project totalling $7 million.
The Cariboo Regional District unveiled its new corporate website today which is located at cariboord.ca. The site has been designed based on feedback and suggestions received from residents along with research into best practices from other local governments.
